Marine Corps Operating Concepts presents overarching operating concepts, including the USMC’s role in national security and proposed enhancements to MAGTF operations in such core areas as engagement, crisis response, and power projection. The document is intended to be read, discussed, and challenged. 4 It recognizes that, to remain effective, USMC intelligence must evolve and adapt to both the changing demands of the modern battlefield and the capabilities provided by advances in technology.
